As parents we spend many hours driving our children to practices or games, helping them with homework, filling out papers for the school and district, and reminding them to take showers and brush their teeth! But we devote those hours to the development and well-being of our children because we want them to have a happy and successful future! Well, your involvement in your child’s school is directly related to their academic success and overall development. For decades, studies have proven that family engagement in children’s education allows kids to perform better in school, and navigate more easily some of the challenges of growing up, such as bullying. So what better time than now, middle school, to get engaged?? We will start the upcoming school year with a new principal and our district is in search of a new superintendent! With change comes opportunity.

As parents who want only the best for our children, let’s seize this opportunity together!
